I believe I have studied enough for today.

I like how I always make myself believe in things. Like, I have studied enough, I have not slept enough. All to justify my lackluster work plus give excuses for being a lazybum. In any case, I finally got some work done. After a long nap. The weather was way too superb to be left un-slept. I believe I should take naps during rainy afternoons :)

I am so hungry, as usual. I'm craving for a huge amount of edible stuff. I wanna go back to sleep. I feel so weird but can't put my finger on it. O well, back to nursing my cramps.

Last thing, I believe sleeping more makes my complexion better and thus, pretty.

Lights dimmed, fan on oscillation mode, me under my comforter. Feels oddly soothing. Why odd you might question. It's hard to feel such a soothing feeling when you have many undone work piled up at a corner. It's like a drop of black ink on a fresh sheet of paper. EYESORE. But it's okay, I'm feeling so ''soothed-out'' now although many things are happening concurrently.

But it's good to escape once in a while - to not think of anything. Absolutely nothing. Just think about your dreams and all the pleasing stuff in the world. Cats, chips, cookies and cream ice-cream. Whatever floats my boat!

And listening to such music definitely helps. I'm loving it so much. Particularly 'Those Were The Days' by Mary Hopkins. Can we bring back such music?

Ok I feel that I should write something here before this space is completely dead. So school has been bad. Since when has school been good, right? I really miss my JC days. Maybe because I don't have to rely on myself so much. There are responsible representatives to do the printing, collecting, updating bla bla but in Uni, everything is just so different. It's like you're left alone once the task is being given to you. And before you figure anything out, it would be close to the deadline already.

Weekdays occupied by school and weekends are occupied by packing since I'd be shifting for good.

I'm so lazy to dress nicely to school on some days but for some reason or another, I can't get over myself not dressing properly.

Gonna have something cold to drink now before I start researching on some ancient psychologists and their respective theories, which would probably take me eons to complete. 8 months of holidays poisoned my brain. It's all gray with dust now.

Had a fabulous gathering over at Isaac's! Hahaha we had such a good time talking about everything. Girls talking about uni, guys talking about their usual topic - army. It was heartwarming to have all of us seated around the standard round table. It once held an epic number of 15 people at one go hahaha.

It was of Brenda's utmost generosity to bring us 2 huge cream cakes!!! Nobody's birthday, no celebration purposes. Just for pure snacking purposes hehe. See that twirly orange thingy in the 3rd picture? Vera and I thought it was made from raw carrots.... ok they are obviously made from chocolate. Then someone (I don't know who's the real mastermind, it might be me. Can't remember) thought of stuffing wasabi green peas into random slices of cakes hahahahaha omg it was so funny.

We're 19 and yet doing things a 13 year old might not even do. But what's most important is that we're happy yes? And we definitely were! All the hidden laughter and smirks when the Prized Cake's being held by the victim.

And thank you to the girls who got me gifts from their Korea trip!

I'm trying so hard to recall about this band I heard on Myspace 2 years ago. I remembered I love their music and because I couldn't download it anywhere, I diligently logged on to their Myspace page every single time I'm on the computer. I can't even remember any of their song titles, lyrics or melodies but I just want to find that band back... but it's so hard! I can only remember their Beachy theme that's all. No, they're not Beach Boys hahaha.

Starting school officially on 25th July... and there are a number of things that I'm afraid about. Yeah right, it's just the 1st day of school, what's there to be afraid about right? PLENTYYY.

New people, awkwardness, new environment, new this, new that.............. new everything. It's a whole new chapter altogether.

I'm definitely not what you call 'friendly' or 'sociable' cos I... okay I think I've explained this before. That post about me not having a social circle. I hope I manage fine though since I think I'm pretty capable of being alone. Or I might put in the effort to make 1 friend.

New but not so amazing news: Got my 4th pair of glasses (god knows where the first 3 pairs went to...) cos my eyesight's getting worse. 350 degrees on the left and 25 on the right. I get secretly excited whenever someone in the family turns 1 year older. It means RG cakes! From guanaja to mango cheesecake to chestnut green tea cake.... it all taste like heaven. You, an ordinary mortal on Earth, is tasting Heaven. Hahahaha the art of exaggeration 101.

And it's my youngest sister's birthday today! Had mango cheesecake and I felt so satisfied. My favourite's still the Guanaja though. Guanaja's the cake covered with rich, dark chocolate. With this beyond superb graham cracker base. Oh, the bliss! *_*

There's still a quarter of it left I think? Yay

Ok I really hope Daddy brings us out for shoe shopping tomorrow. Cos he got a pair of Aldos and my sisters and I went, "we also want...!" ok so I hope he's in a good mood tomorrow. Then I'll get a new pair of platforms or flats.

My week has been great so far. Took a break from the monstrous 3-hour Monday class. It means a lot to me - to be temporarily placed out from my usual routine. I really hate routines but I don't have I choice, do I? Hahahaha and in fact, this job of mine is already one of the more flexible jobs around but because I have so many things to do in a day, it really can't get any more flexible than it already is.

I sound like I actually have no 'life' in my life. With the routines and such. But I'm pretty comfortable with what I'm doing and what I'm experiencing. Except for certain times when kids bully me. Yessss I do get bullied by kids. For example, this kid who literally forced me to smell her booger. It was TRAUMATISING. I was evading with 100% of my might and she was using 200% of hers to make sure I smell her booger. Oh my god.

There are also plenty of kids who like to fart proudly. Giving me this smile/smirk after the gases are released from their system. Kids......will always be kids. Till they get older that is.

Another update. I went for this major major major interview on Tuesday and I hope that things do go well. This is the last thread of hope left.

Gonna have something to eat then play Monopoly Deal with my sisters. Then we'll all turn in together. How loving are we? Hahah

Today was some record-breaking day for me. Woke up at 0700, left home at 0800 and reached home at around 2310. Busy and exhausting day but well, a fulfilling one.

Maria (my 5 yr old tutee) and I had fun today.

Scene 1.

*a little green bird flew in*

Me: Look! Bird bird!

Maria: The bird will fly to there. *points at the clock*

Me: Like a princess? :D :D

Maria: Ya! Like the princess and the bird at the window.... *laughter*

Scene 2.

Maria: Teacherrr you got princess water bottle.

(It was just a normal Lychee drink plastic bottle. You know, the light pink kind)

Me: Hm? Where?

Maria: *points to my light pink plastic bottle*

She showed interest in my plaited fringe and requested for me to plait her fringe for her and so I did. She was so happy!! So cute!!! It's like.... she just kept saying Princess princess princess. And told me about ALL (or almost all) of the names of the different Princeses.

She even told me she has a tiara. Yup I know that she has one cos sometimes she wears it during tuition, despite how unstable that big thing is on her little head, she insists on wearing it. Sometimes she even goes to the extent of holding the tiara with her other hand to prevent it from falling while writing with the other hand. Why so cute?! Makes me wanna have a daughter myself. Hahahahhahaha.

And I realize not only do young girls fantasize about being a princess. Honestly, I'm almost quadruple her age and I myself do fantasize of being one too. Okay, go ahead and laugh but I really think that deep down in a girl's heart, there's a part (no matter how tiny it is) where she wants to be a princess. A princess could mean being extremely precious to someone or basically just owning all the fancy stuff in all shades of pink, having a huge selection of diamond-encrusted tiaras to choose from every morning and of course, a life spent in a castle (you know, the true blue princesses. Live in castles and travel on horse carriages) and last but not the least, the well-known Prince Charming. How could anyone miss that out. Hahaha.

So the Princess term is pretty subjective huh? But seeing that sort of excitement radiating from a 5 yr old girl makes me feel so happy. It's that sort of pure happiness and innocence that you gradually lose hold of as days pass by.

Mmmm I'm so tired but I still went to paint my nails. Old habits die hard. I can't seem to look at my bare nails for more than 1 week or so now. Waiting for it to dry completely while listening to christmas songs before heading to bed. Goodnight!

I'm typing this with a really really heavy heart. Reality got smacked right at my face this afternoon and sigh... I swear, my heart sank to the depth of the deepest ocean.

But what could I do? It's probably God's way of punishing me for not studying harder when I could. Maths especially. But heck I seriously CAN'T do numbers for nuts and it's good enough (well, in my pathetic standard) that I passed. Which was a miracle cos seriously I've been failing math and getting single digits in school. And if there's one thing you should and must know about me, it's that I SUCK IN MATH.

Ok that's pretty much the only subject I'm at loggerheads with since primary school.

And math is the cause of my downfall. Hahaha 'downfall' sounds so dramatic but I can't find a better word to describe it.

Another random night where I wish I own a kaleidoscope and listening to random Jazz songs. Ok and my mind's chock full of thoughts.

Sometimes I really question the existence of the feelings of attraction. If I had a choice, I would rather be void of it. Would you? But too bad, the law of nature doesn't allow us to be that way. Or should I say, created that way. Cos if everyone in this world were to be void of feelings, the population rate would be stagnant and there wouldn't be any reproduction and mankind might just cease to exist. Hahahaha ok wth am I talking about.

I wish I could turn back time to when I was still young, innocent and free from stress and problems.

I'm pretty much an introvert and an anti-social person. This explains the amount of friends that I have. True friends that I can talk to, and feel comfortable with. Very few. I don't even have enough friends to form a "social circle" but look, I'm not complaining. I'm very much happier this way. Everyone understands the theory of Quality over Quantity, yes? Or maybe I'm just weird this way.

Most of the time, all I wanna do is to lay back, relax, and throw all the problems and worries at the back of my head. Plop on the couch, listen to good music and daydream about things that will never ever happen in reality. Like owning a huge black sparkly private jet with wine-red cushioned interior walls. But such is an ideal made-up scenario. In reality, some unwanted thoughts would intrude rudely and disrupt my barely-there sweet daydreams.

I wish life could just be peaceful and happy. I don't even wish for it to be "exciting". I just want it to be peaceful. I wanna feel at peace. It's a feeling that I miss.

Why don't happy moments last? It's almost like they're meant to be short-lived. Or they come with an expiry date/time which could be the very next moment, or in the blink of an eye, or a bat of an eyelash. I wish a mood camera could be invented to capture the feeling of happiness, like how photographs are taken to be remembered and stored for as long as its existence.

I would pay whatever I have in my bank account now to feel happy and at peace all over again, cos that feeling's priceless. Priceless.

I have so much more to write but I'll continue another day.

#1: Diligently perform my 3-step skin care routine every morning and night

Okay it's actually not that easy for someone filled with laziness. But I must do it because I have horribly dry skin. And I have freckles. At the age of 19... omg. *slathers on the whole tube of SPF40 sunblock on face*

#2: Patiently await the arrival of my university admission letter

#3: Stop buying shoes

I have shoes that are just worn once/twice and that's it. And I really can't stop buying/wanting to buy shoes. All sorts of shoes. But seriously, do I really wear them? Not really. I just like hoarding them. Have to stop before it turns into an addiction. This abstinence from shoes will last till *hopefully* by the end of November. Why? Because I would then get myself a pair of Jeffrey Campbell platforms for my 19th birthday. To reward myself for the 6-months shoe abstinence. Sounds like a good plan.

#4: Wear my shoes more often

Brought forward from #3. Gonna bring those shoes out and start wearing them. So I can wear them out and not let their existence go to waste.

#5: Not be lazy to travel to BBDC

Self-explanatory. I wanna get my license by late August. Hopefully I'll learn fast. I went up the kerb during my 2nd lesson. But I managed to bring the car off from the kerb so I guess it's not too bad. And thank God I chose to take Auto instead of Manual.

#6. EAT MORE FRUITS

I wanna be healthy and fruity. Just kidding about the latter.

I need to start spring cleaning soon but I'm lazy. Oh god why am I so lazy? I hate lazy people but I am one myself, ironically. Cookie's burrowing all over my messed up desk now. My A-level stuff are still lying around. 2010 has been a really screwed up year for me. I'm so glad it's coming to an end. Delighted, happy, excited... And the list goes on. It's like FINALLY. Which probably explains the insecurity I always feel.Life's been great so far. Eating, spending time with my loved ones, tv time, eating, eating and more eating. Sometimes I wish I was void of the ability to dream. Literally. It makes me tired and most importantly, I'd think about the dreams for almost the whole day. Which is stupid cos they're DREAMS. It will never happen in real life. But again, you won't know. I might actually be a psychic who's able to predict the future with my dreams. Who knows? Hahaha.Speaking of which, I had 9 short dreams last night. See what I mean? 9 dreams!! Which explains why I woke up at 3pm, feeling ravenous. Haven't eaten for 15 hours. End of the eventful week. Prom and class chalet got me busy for almost 5 consecutive days, including preparation. Just got up from a close to 5-hour nap not too long ago. These few afternoons would be spent making up for lost sleep!

Brought cookie (previously known as onion) over to the chalet and she was having so much fun there walking around, meeting new people and playing with em. Litter training would commence soon!

Hmm I finally turned 18 yesterday. Time to register for driving lessons! It sucks that there isn't any driving centre in my area and I'd have to travel all the way to Bukit Batok. Can't wait to learn driving. But I guess it'd take a least 6 months or so to complete the course!? That's super long.

Thank you A01 for the chocolate cake surprise!! And my family for the second one. :)

Mmmm gonna laze around in my grey slouchy long-sleeved top and watch tv for the whole night. Should I get a job? Yes no yes no yes no. I can't frickin decide. Ok maybe I'll go sign up for relief teaching. And teach tuition. Some job that doesn't have rigid timeslots, require me to stand for hours, smile non-stop, clear dirty stuff etc. So fussy might as well just stay at home. If not for yhr obligation to save up 50% of my traveling fees, I doubt I'd even find the motivation to work.

I hate it when I'm lazy. But I can't stop myself from being lazy. Well, human nature! Hahah ok time to laze around more. Cya!

The end of A levels feels SO great!!! On a totally unrelated note, I now have a newborn kitten named Onion. Hm I think she's barely 2 weeks old. She just opened her eyes today!!! Really cute and pretty with her tiny pink nose and light brown coat. Feeding her with a milk bottle, cleaning her and watching her go to sleep make me feel like a mom. I can't wait for her to grow up :)

/Sometimes it really makes me wonder why people do this/that when they obviously know the unpleasant consequences following their actions. If you know doing something would cause unhappiness, why would you still want to do it? Why? Would it satisfy you to see everything break apart just because of something you did intentionally? I don't understand. Or, maybe, everything is just an intricately planned facade. I'm still trying to decipher.

Woke at 8am, did the usual stuff in school and ventured around bukit batok with mfmm today. The weather was terribly warm omg why couldn't everyday be a sunny-and-cold/windy day. Just like how New Delhi was during my trip there. The weather was absolutely heaven!

Had close to 14 hours of sleep yesterday. It felt so good to be away from book and notes for a while. Thank god for cable tv. I can't imagine life without it. All my favorite channels! All of which has got to do with travel, food, and animals. Ever since my laptop broke down, i've been ulti-reliant on cable. Ok i'm just bored. Very bored. Anyway, I really hate 3-hour papers cos it makes me really really really hungry and I could actually think about food halfway. Disrupting my train of thoughts. Too much writing is sleep-inducing as well. Oh well, 1 last 3-hour paper to go.
